A Truck-Bed Platform That Shrugs Off Winter
Not every sled owner wants to tow. If your truck bed is already going where the snow is, a deck turns it into the trailer and leaves the hitch free. This pre-owned 2022 Sno Pro 7 ft Sport Deck does that in aluminum, left in a bare finish that has nothing for road brine to attack, which matters more on a deck than almost anywhere else because it spends every mile in the spray coming off the rear tires.
Weight is the other argument. Aluminum keeps the platform light, and every pound the deck does not use is a pound of truck payload left for the machines, the fuel and the people. The sliding leg system lets you set the deck to your bed rather than hoping the dimensions match, and the telescoping ramp extends to bridge the gap from ground to deck so loading is a steady climb instead of a leap.
Once the machine is up, a slide track with ski tie-down holds it square on the highway. This particular unit was ordered with Quad Ply decking and extra lighting, including four additional lights in the headache rack plus a set of stop and turn lights and a set of backup lights, which is a genuine help when you are loading at the end of a trail day in the dark.

Three things decide whether a sled deck works for you. The first is truck payload: a deck plus two machines adds up quickly, and the number on your door jamb sticker is the one that counts, not the tow rating. The second is bed length and cab clearance, since a 7 ft deck overhangs a short bed and the legs need solid footing at the right spread. The third is machine count, because seven feet of deck is comfortable for one machine and tight but workable for two depending on the sleds.
Since this one has been used, work the sliding legs and the telescoping ramp through their full travel when it arrives, look over the tie-down track and the decking for wear at the contact points, and check that the added lights are wired cleanly into the harness. Aluminum decks hold their value for a reason, and a used one that has been looked after is usually the better buy over a new steel unit.
Atlas delivers free to the Lower 48 and for a flat $550 to Puerto Rico, generally four to ten days after your bank transfer clears. The shipping policy page covers what to expect on delivery day, and if a trailer would suit you better than a deck you will find plenty of both in container chassis and trailers.
