Our Policies

Terms of Sale

The terms that apply to every order placed through this website.

These terms apply to every order placed with Atlas Container Supply through this website. Please read them before you order — placing an order means you accept them.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Atlas” mean Atlas Container Supply, 20 Pear Circle, Greenbrier, AR 72058, USA. “You” means the person or business placing the order.

1. Placing an order

An order you place through this website is an offer to buy, not a completed contract. The contract is formed when we confirm your order and your payment has cleared. We may decline an order — for example if a unit is no longer available, if we cannot deliver to your location, or if the listing contained a pricing or description error. If we decline, we refund anything you have paid in full.

2. Prices and errors

Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax (see our sales tax policy). We take care to price and describe units accurately, but if an obvious error appears in a price or specification we are not obliged to sell at the incorrect price. We will contact you, and you may either confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel it for a full refund.

3. Payment

Payment is by direct bank transfer, as described in our payment policy. We do not currently accept credit cards or PayPal. Your order is scheduled for dispatch once funds have cleared in our account. Title to the unit does not pass to you until payment has cleared in full.

4. Delivery

Delivery is free and is made to street addresses in the 48 contiguous United States, by tilt-bed trailer. Full terms, timeframes and the site requirements you must meet are set out in our shipping policy, which forms part of these terms.

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for losses caused by a delivery arriving later than estimated.

5. Your obligations on delivery day

You are responsible for ensuring the delivery site is suitable and accessible: level, firm, well-drained ground, an adequate straight approach, clear overhead space, and an adult present to direct the driver. If a delivery cannot be completed because these are not met, the unit returns to the yard and a re-delivery charge applies, which we will confirm with you before rebooking.

6. Risk, damage and inspection

Risk in the unit passes to you on delivery. Inspect the container before the driver leaves. Note any transit damage at the point of delivery and report it to us in writing, with photographs, within 48 hours of delivery. Claims for transit damage made after that period may not be accepted, because we can no longer distinguish transit damage from damage occurring on your site.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel an order for a full refund at any time before the unit is dispatched. Once a unit has been dispatched, our refund and returns policy applies instead. Custom-built and modified units cannot be cancelled once production has started.

8. Returns

Returns are governed by our refund and returns policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: stock units may be returned within 30 days of delivery in as-delivered condition; return freight and a restocking fee may apply; and custom-built and modified units are non-returnable.

9. Warranty

What we do and do not warrant is set out in our warranty policy. Atlas does not publish a general manufacturer warranty term; where a specific unit carries one it is stated on that product’s page.

10. Siting, permits and connection

We supply the unit as manufactured. We do not install it, connect it to utilities, prepare foundations, or obtain permits or approvals on your behalf. Checking zoning and building-code requirements with your local authority, arranging groundworks, and engaging licensed trades for any electrical, plumbing or HVAC connection are your responsibility. This matters particularly for units intended for use as habitable space.

11. Use of the unit

You are responsible for using the unit lawfully and safely, including compliance with any local regulations that apply to siting a container or occupying a structure on your property.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of use, or costs arising from delivery delays.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, and the courts of Arkansas have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

14. Contact

15. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order. Last updated 2 August 2026.
