Our Policies
Privacy Policy
What information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
This policy explains what personal information Atlas Container Supply collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it. It describes how this website actually works today, not a generic template.
Who we are
Atlas Container Supply, 20 Pear Circle, Greenbrier, AR 72058, USA. Our website address is https://atlascontainersupply.com. For any privacy question, or to make any request described on this page, email support@atlascontainersupply.com.
What we collect when you place an order
To sell and deliver a container we ask for the information we need to complete that sale:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number;
- your billing address;
- your delivery address, plus any site access notes you give us;
- the items you ordered, the price, and the order date.
We use this to take the order, arrange freight, contact you to schedule delivery, handle returns, and keep the accounting records the law requires. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell it.
Payment information
Orders are currently paid by direct bank transfer. That means the payment happens between you and your own bank — Atlas Container Supply does not collect, process or store card numbers, and no card details are entered on this website. We see only that a transfer has arrived and which order it relates to.
If we add card payments in future, they will be handled by a third-party payment processor and card details will go to that processor rather than to us. We will update this page before that change goes live.
Accounts
This store uses guest checkout. Customer account registration is switched off, so ordering does not create a login or a stored profile on this site.
Comments on blog posts
If you leave a comment on an article, we collect the comment text, the name and email address you enter, your IP address and your browser user agent string. This is standard WordPress behaviour and is used for spam detection and moderation. Your email address is not published.
Cookies
This site sets only the cookies it needs to work:
- Shopping cart and checkout cookies set by WooCommerce, so your cart survives moving between pages;
- Performance and caching cookies set by our host, SiteGround, to serve pages faster;
- a comment cookie if you leave a comment and ask the site to remember your details.
We do not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising, remarketing or session-recording tracker on this website. There are no third-party advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking cart cookies will stop checkout from working.
Who we share your information with
- Freight carriers. To deliver a container we pass the carrier your name, delivery address, phone number and any access notes, so the driver can reach you and schedule the drop. They need this to complete the delivery.
- Our web host. The site and its database are hosted by SiteGround, which processes data on our behalf as part of hosting.
- Professional and legal obligations. Our accountants, and any authority we are legally required to disclose to.
That is the full list. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Search engine tools
We use Google Search Console to see how our pages perform in search results. It reports on aggregate search activity for the website and does not identify individual visitors to us.
How long we keep it
We keep order records, including your contact and delivery details, for as long as we need them to complete the order and honour the return and warranty period, and after that for as long as tax, accounting and legal obligations require. Blog comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely unless you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your personal information.
Email support@atlascontainersupply.com and tell us which you want. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, and we cannot delete records we are legally required to keep, such as completed order and tax records. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy law, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
Security
The whole site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so information you send us is encrypted in transit. No website can promise absolute security, but we do not store card numbers on this site at all, which removes the most sensitive category of data from the equation.
Children
This site sells industrial and construction equipment and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information — for example when card payments are enabled — we will update this page. Last updated 2 August 2026.
