Description
Thirty-Five Feet of Deck and 16,520 lbs of Payload
Past a certain weight a bumper-pull stops being the right answer, and this new 2024 Diamond C is built for everything on the far side of that line. The FMAX210 HDT35x102 runs a 25,000 lb GVWR against an 8,480 lb empty weight, which leaves 16,520 lbs for the machine on the deck, and the deck itself is 35 feet long and 102 inches wide.
Pulling the load ahead of the truck axle rather than hanging it off the bumper is what makes that weight manageable. A gooseneck puts tongue weight over the rear springs, tightens the turning circle in a gate or a yard, and settles down at highway speed where a long bumper-pull would start to wander. Contractors moving a dozer and an excavator on one trip, or farmers running a large tractor with an implement still attached, are the buyers this trailer was drawn for.
The 12 ft dovetail is fully automatic, so it lowers and lifts itself and a low-clearance machine can be loaded without a second person on the ground. A 7 watt Solarpulse panel with a Group 27 battery and a 5 amp charger keeps that system powered between jobs instead of leaving you cranking a dead actuator.

Before ordering, check the truck rather than the trailer. You need a bed-mounted gooseneck ball rated at or above 25,000 lbs, a hitch installation matched to that rating, and a brake controller capable of driving four electric drum brakes. Then weigh your heaviest single machine with its bucket, blade or implement in place, because attachments are what push a load past a payload figure that looked comfortable on paper.
Within its class the two things worth paying for are the frame and the dovetail, and this unit has both: a 16 in. engineered beam is noticeably stiffer under a concentrated tracked load than a straight channel frame, and the automatic dovetail is the difference between a one-person load and a two-person load every single time. Run the dovetail through a full cycle and test the brakes on arrival.
