Description
Twenty Thousand Pounds of Deckover Built for Rolling Iron
Contractors reach a point where a standard equipment trailer stops being enough, and that is where the 2024 Diamond C DEC21020X102 comes in. The 20,000 lb GVWR and roughly 15,370 lbs of payload cover a skid steer with attachments, a mini excavator, a compact tractor and implements, or a pair of smaller machines on one trip. Cement Grey paint over a deckover frame gives you a wide, flat, uninterrupted 8.5 ft by 20 ft working surface with nothing narrowing between the fenders.
The loading hardware is what excavation crews and rental fleets tend to buy this trailer for. Flip-knee ramps break the approach into two gentler angles, so a low-clearance machine climbs aboard without dragging its belly pan, and the 48 in. dovetail smooths the last step onto the deck. Once the machine is up, a slide track with a welded ratchet and six 5/8 in. D-rings give you anchor points wherever the load actually sits rather than wherever the factory happened to weld a ring.
Underneath, torsion straight-axle suspension and self-adjusting electric brakes handle the part that matters most on a heavy tow: keeping the load settled and stopping the whole combination straight.

Before ordering, put a tape to your machine and a scale to its operating weight with attachments fitted, then confirm it lands inside 15,370 lbs with room left for chains, ramps and fuel. Your truck matters just as much: a 21,000 lb coupler is only useful if the tow vehicle and hitch are rated to match it, and a 20K load is firmly in three-quarter-ton-and-up territory. Deckover trailers also sit higher than between-the-fenders designs, so measure your loading ramp angle and any low clearance on the route.
