Description
A Reconfigurable Aluminum Hauler at the Top of the ROM Range
Most enclosed trailers come with the interior the factory decided on. The ROM 550 does not, because this 2026 24-footer includes ATC LifeTrac, a track system that lets cabinets, sofas, wall hooks, helmet racks and other components be added, moved or pulled out entirely. A trailer that hauls a race car in April and a side-by-side in July can be set up differently for each without drilling a single hole.
The rest of the build is aimed at the same owner. Two 5,200 lb spread torsion axles with skirting keep the ride flat and planted at highway speed, aluminum wheels cut unsprung weight, and the .040 Silverfrost screwless exterior stays sharp after the kind of mileage that dulls a painted steel box. Roughly seven feet of interior height clears most cars, side-by-sides and the shop gear that travels with them.
Inside, white aluminum walls and ceiling keep the space bright, black coin flooring keeps dirt and stains from showing under jack stands, and matching overhead and base cabinets add storage without eating the floor width you need to open a car door. A 30-amp package, prep for air conditioning and two manual roof vents mean it is already wired for a weekend spent living out of it at a track or a campground.

Twenty-four feet is the length most single-car haulers settle on, and the reason is working room. Measure your car bumper to bumper, then add the space you need to walk past an open door and stand behind a raised hood. If the sum lands inside 24 ft you have the right trailer; if it does not, the next size up costs less than living with a rig you cannot move around inside.
The beavertail is the other detail that earns its keep, flattening the last few feet of approach so a low front splitter clears the ramp instead of scraping it. Check interior height against your tallest load, confirm your tow vehicle handles the loaded weight of a spread-axle 24-footer, and look over the coupler, tires and floor before the first long tow.
