This 4m x 4.2m side-linked flat pack container bundle consists of two 4m galvanised steel flat pack storage units and one side-by-side linking kit, assembled with the two units joined along their long sides to create a wide, almost-square combined storage footprint of 3.88m × 4.37m external. This is a fundamentally different configuration from our 8m end-linked bundle and 6m end-linked bundle — rather than extending length for long-item storage, the side-linked layout maximises usable floor area and internal width, creating an open-plan storage space with a 4.07m internal width suited to wider equipment, multiple storage categories side-by-side, or bulk storage that benefits from broad access rather than depth.

Each unit retains its own door in the combined structure, providing two separate access points. Doors can be configured at the same end for a unified access front, or at opposite ends to allow through-access or independent entry into each half of the structure — a practical option for organizations that need to partition storage by user group or equipment type without a physical dividing wall.
