Description
Gray Dove, 24 Feet, and a Ramp Built for Low Cars
Color is not usually a buying argument, but .030 gray dove has a practical case behind it: road film, pollen and the grime of a long interstate run barely show on it, which means a trailer that still looks presentable on the third day of an event. Underneath that finish this 2026 Millennium Hero is a straightforward, well-built 24-foot car hauler.
Tandem 5,200 lb drop spring axles on aluminum wheels carry it, mounted to a 6-inch tube frame with a 48-inch triple-tube tongue. That combination handles repeated vehicle transport without the frame flex that shows up on lighter builds, and the aluminum wheels shed a little unsprung weight and resist corrosion where steel rims pit.
Inside, 3/8-inch engineered walls and 3/4-inch engineered flooring take the punishment that straps, jack stands and rolling tires hand out. Six inches of added height bring the interior to roughly seven feet, which is enough to stand up beside a car, work around it, and load a taller truck without holding your breath at the door. A 16 in stone guard up front keeps highway debris off the nose, and the aluminum roof means one less seam to chase for leaks a few winters from now.

The loading geometry is the part to think through. A 48-inch beavertail plus the ramp flap flattens the approach considerably, so a car with three or four inches of ground clearance goes in without a set of ramp extensions. If your vehicle is lower than that, measure the breakover angle at the ramp joint before ordering rather than after.
Length is the other decision. Twenty-four feet handles nearly any passenger car with room behind it for a toolbox and a jack, but a long-bed crew cab or a car on a dolly will use every inch. The slant wedge V-nose buys back some of that space up front for spares and tools, and the 36-inch side door means you can get in without dropping the ramp every time you need a wrench. Before the first trip, set the tire pressures to the sidewall figure, confirm the barlock turns freely, and match your brake controller to a loaded trailer rather than an empty one.
