Description
Tilt Loading Without Giving Up a Level Deck
A full-tilt deck loads beautifully and then makes a nuisance of itself the moment you want to haul something that does not like sitting on a hinge. The Rice PTH20 splits the difference. Only the rear section of this 2024 partial tilt pivots down to meet the ground, while the forward portion of the deck stays fixed and flat. Machinery drives up the tilted section on a gentle angle, and longer or taller loads still get a stable, level platform under them once everything is aboard.
Underneath, two 7,000 lb cambered EZ Lube electric braked axles sit beneath a 14,000 lb GVWR. The trailer weighs 3,680 lbs empty, so 10,320 lbs is available for whatever you are moving, which covers a mid-size skid steer, a compact tractor with a loader, or a mixed load of machine and material. That last case is where partial tilt genuinely beats a full-tilt deck.
Built to Stay Looking New
The tongue, main frame and tilt deck are all 6 in. channel, braced with 3 in. formed channel crossmembers, and the whole trailer wears a complete powder coat finish in blue rather than a brushed-on enamel. Pressure-treated planking handles the abrasion of tracks and tires, fabricated hard fenders take a boot without denting, and the fully sealed modular harness with LED lamps keeps the wiring out of the weather. A reverse dovetail with a front bump rail guides equipment as it rolls forward, and the cam lock system holds the deck down for travel.

Choose partial over full tilt when your week is mixed: equipment one day, pallets or a bulk load the next. If every load you carry is a single low machine, a full tilt is simpler. Either way the 14K rating is the honest ceiling for a mid-size machine, so weigh your equipment with attachments rather than trusting a brochure number. Your truck needs a 2-5/16 in. ball rated to match the coupler and a brake controller wired for two electric axles, and it is worth confirming that a 10,320 lb load leaves your rear axle and tires within their own ratings.
Once the bank transfer for this Rice clears, Atlas books the haul and most buyers see it in 4 to 10 days, with no freight charge anywhere in the Lower 48 and a flat $550 to Puerto Rico.
