Description
Drive-Through Loading for Two or Three Sleds
The reason drive in, drive out trailers keep selling is simple: nobody enjoys reversing a sled off a ramp in a packed trailhead lot. This 2023 High Country 7.5 x 14 carries a tapered ramp door at each end, so machines go in the back and come out the front, and a three-sled load unloads in the order it went in.
The shell is aluminum over an integrated frame, so road salt is a nuisance rather than a countdown clock, and the finished trailer weighs 1,775 lbs dry. That leaves 4,225 lbs of payload under a 6,000 lb GVWR, which is real headroom for three machines, fuel cans, a sled deck of gear and a couple of riders worth of equipment.
Inside, the 55 in. V-nose buys floor area that a flat front wastes and takes some drag off the highway leg. White interior walls bounce the light from the three dome lights around instead of swallowing it, a roof vent lets damp gear dry out, and a full-length slide track with four sliding D-rings means tie-down points land where the sled is rather than where the factory drilled a hole.

Measure before you commit. Tall windshields and aftermarket bars are what run into a 76 in. ceiling, and a wide ski stance is what finds the edges of the 80 in. rear opening, so check your own machines rather than trusting a class average. The front opening is narrower at 55.5 in., which is normal for a V-nose exit and worth knowing if you plan to drive out with a wide-track utility sled.
On the tow side, this is a 2 in. straight-pull coupler, and the torsion axles are braked, so your vehicle needs a working brake controller. Torsion suspension has no springs or equalizers to service, rides quieter over frost heaves than leaf springs, and is a large part of why these trailers stay tight after a few seasons of winter roads.
