Description
The Sensible Way Into Enclosed Hauling
Not every enclosed trailer needs to cost as much as the car inside it. The 2026 Millennium Econo-Max is built to a budget on purpose, and the places it spends money are the right ones: a 6-inch tubular main frame, wall posts and floor crossmembers on 16-inch centers, roof bows on 24-inch centers, and 3/4-inch plywood flooring over that structure.
The .080 black screwed poly-core exterior is the visible trade-off against a screwless bonded skin. It is thicker material than the thin aluminum on many entry trailers and it takes a knock well; it just shows its fasteners. For a working trailer that lives outdoors, most owners consider that an acceptable swap.
What lifts this one above a plain 20-footer is the extra height. Twelve additional inches bring the interior to roughly 7 ft 6 in, which is the difference between crouching around a vehicle and standing beside it, and it opens the door to taller loads that a standard-height box simply will not swallow. A V-nose front sharpens the tow and adds usable storage ahead of the wheels.

Two 3,500 lb axles set the ceiling here at 7,000 lb gross, and the trailer itself uses a good share of that, so this is a car trailer for ordinary cars rather than a hauler for a heavy truck or a loaded shop on wheels. Weigh what you plan to carry and leave margin; if your vehicle is over about 4,000 lb you should be shopping 5,200 lb axles instead.
Measure height twice. The extra 12 inches is only useful if you know the actual clearance of your load at its tallest point, roof rack, antenna, light bar and all, and remember the ramp door opening is slightly shorter than the interior peak. The beavertail and ramp flap flatten the approach for a low front end, and the four floor D-rings should be checked for square, solid welds when the trailer arrives.
