The 1 Bedroom Portable Cabin with Verandah is a transportable one-bedroom cabin with an open-plan living and kitchen area, a full ensuite, and a covered deck. The verandah extends the living space, which makes the cabin feel considerably larger than its footprint suggests.

What it is

This is a purpose-built transportable cabin, not a converted shipping container. It is built on a 200 mm universal-beam steel base, with 50 mm EPS structural wall and ceiling panels, 19 mm tongue-and-groove flooring over foil-backed underfloor insulation, and Colorbond cladding, roofing and flashings.

• Straight kitchen with melamine benchtop, sink and drainage, two-burner LPG gas cooktop, and space for a bar fridge or washing machine

• Bedroom with fitted wardrobe — shelving and hanging space

• Aluminium sliding windows and doors, with fly screens, blockout roller blinds and a vertical blind to the slider
• Vinyl flooring, colour options available
• 1 × 2.6 kW reverse-cycle air conditioner in the living area
• Instantaneous LPG gas hot water unit
• Double power points and LED downlights throughout

Note on gas appliances: the cooktop and hot water unit run on LPG (propane). You will need to arrange a propane supply and have the appliances connected by a licensed gas fitter.

What is not included

• Site preparation, a level base, footings or foundations
• Connection to mains electricity, water or waste
• LPG supply, tanks or gas fitting
• Permits, zoning approval or building-code sign-off. A cabin used as habitable space is regulated as a dwelling in most jurisdictions — confirm requirements with your local building department before ordering.
• Furniture and soft furnishings

Atlas supplies the cabin as manufactured. We do not install it, connect it, or obtain approvals on your behalf.

Delivery

Delivery is free to the 48 contiguous states — see our shipping policy. The cabin is delivered as a finished module, so site access matters: you will need a firm, level base, a clear straight approach and overhead clearance. Talk to us about access before you order if the site is tight.
