This page explains how sales tax is handled on orders from Atlas Container Supply.

Tax is not added at checkout

Prices shown on this website are exclusive of sales tax, and no sales tax is calculated or added to your order at checkout. The total you see at checkout is the price of the unit — delivery is free.

What this means for you

Where sales or use tax is due on your purchase, responsibility for reporting and paying it to your state rests with you as the buyer. This is common for interstate purchases of equipment. If you are unsure whether use tax applies to your purchase, speak to your accountant or your state department of revenue — we cannot give tax advice.

Invoices and business purchases

If you need an itemised invoice for your accounting or tax records, email support@atlascontainersupply.com with your order number and we will provide one showing the unit price, with delivery shown at $0.

If this changes

If Atlas Container Supply becomes required to collect sales tax in your state, tax will be calculated and shown at checkout before you pay, and this page will be updated to say so. We will not add tax to an order after it has been placed.
