Warranty Policy
What we do and do not warrant, stated plainly before you order.
This page sets out what Atlas Container Supply does and does not warrant. We would rather be plain about this before you order than leave you to discover it afterwards.
No published manufacturer warranty
Atlas Container Supply does not currently publish a manufacturer warranty term on the units it sells. If a specific unit carries a warranty from its manufacturer, that will be stated on that product’s page. Where a product page does not state a warranty, none is offered.
If a warranty matters to your purchase, ask us in writing before you order and we will tell you exactly what applies to that unit. Do not assume a warranty from general descriptions such as “built to last” or “durable”.
What we do stand behind
- Condition as described. Every unit is inspected before dispatch. If a unit arrives materially different from its description or condition grade, contact us and we will put it right.
- Damage in transit. Inspect the unit before the driver leaves. Report transit damage at the point of delivery and contact us straight away with photographs.
- Returns. The 30-day return window in our refund and returns policy applies to stock units. Note that custom-built and modified units are non-returnable.
Condition grades
Used and refurbished containers are sold in the condition described on the product page. “Wind and watertight” means the roof, walls and door seals keep weather out; it does not mean the unit is free of dents, surface rust or patched paint. See our container grades page for what each grade means.
What is not covered
- Normal wear, surface rust and cosmetic marks on used and refurbished units.
- Damage caused after delivery, including by siting on unsuitable ground, modification, overloading or misuse.
- Site works, foundations, utility connections and permits — these are the buyer’s responsibility.
