Description
ATC Build Quality at the Sensible End of the Range
The ROM 400 is where ATC’s aluminum lineup starts to feel properly equipped without climbing into flagship money. This 2026 24-footer wears a .030 Silverfrost screwless exterior, a finish that stays bright and sheds road film, and it rides on two 5,200 lb spread torsion axles. Spreading the axles rather than pairing them settles the trailer at highway speed and reduces the pitching you feel through the truck on rough pavement.
Inside there is roughly 7 feet of headroom, which is enough for most cars plus a rolling toolbox, tires and a canopy. Aluminum walls and ceiling bounce light around the bay, black coin flooring hides scuffs and wipes clean after an oil leak, and white overhead and base cabinets keep tools off the floor where they belong.
Two details separate this one from a base cargo box. The rear wing carries LED loading lights that put illumination exactly where you need it while backing a car up the ramp after dark, and the Premium Escape Door, whose removable wheel well means that door still swings clear when a car is parked hard against the side wall. Anyone who has climbed out a car window inside a trailer will appreciate that.

Measuring Before You Order
Twenty-four feet of interior sounds generous until a long-wheelbase car goes in and the ramp door needs clearance to close. Measure your vehicle bumper to bumper, add a couple of feet for walking room and tie-down access, and check its overall height against the roughly 7-foot interior, remembering that a car sits several inches higher once it is on the trailer floor. Roof racks, spoilers and lightbars are the usual surprises.
The 5,200 lb axle pair gives 10,400 lb of axle capacity, comfortable for a single car plus tools but not the trailer to choose if you plan to haul two vehicles or a heavy truck. Distribute the load across the four recessed D-rings, keep roughly sixty percent of the weight forward of the axle centerline, and verify the tires, coupler and D-ring hardware when the trailer reaches you.
Delivery to the Lower 48 is free, Puerto Rico is a flat $550, and the usual timeline runs four to ten days from the moment your bank transfer clears. The rest of the Enclosed Trailers range is worth a look if you want to compare lengths, and a quick note to Atlas will get you a delivered quote on this ROM 400.
